This is the first movie soundtracks that I remember owning as a kid. I played this tape for hours.
that 1990 movie had no business being that gritty and that good. the soundtrack still holds up perfectly too. “turtle power” was basically the anthem of an entire generation of kids hitting each other with broomsticks in the backyard.
My daughter is the captain of her high school wrestling team and I just recently found out that this song is on her playlist to hype herself up before a match. I had the lyrics to this song memorized when I was a kid…
I still have his autograph somewhere
