The market hits ¥22.2M/$3.22M. Up +8% from yesterday and down -19% from last week.
Outside of Mario there will be a few more movies releasing for the Qingming Festival extended weekend. It*s OK is looking to open the best with a projected $1.5M Friday ahead of Now I Meet Her which is aiming for a $1.2-1.5M Friday. Then on Saturday Game of Identity will aim for a $2.1-2.7M opening day while Sunsine Women's Choir is projected to open with a modest $450-700k.

Project Hail Mary
Project Hail Mary continues to perform well grossing ¥5.31M/$0.77M on Wednesday. Down -25% from last week.
It overtakes Return To Silent Hill to become the highest grossing foreign movie of the year.
Also given the recent discusion about Mario taking away IMAX from PHM. PHM will keep the majority of IMAX screenings in China over the weekend.
Early weekend projections remain in a wide spread having PHM doing $2.0-3.9M for the 3 day and $2.5-5.0M for the 4 day Holiday.

Pegasus 3 also increased a healty +7% grossing ¥3.44M/$0.50M on Wednesday
Admissions wise Pegasus 3 hits 93M tickets sold.
Passes No More Bets at 92.95M to climb into the top 10 all time attended movies list and for good measure also passes Operation Red Sea at 92.99M tickets sold to become the 9th most attended movie of all time.
This should be Pegasus 3's last big admissions milestone.

Super Mario Opening Day Pre-Sales
I do have to continue to note that against Mario and Minecraft the comparison is skewed because the opening day was the Holiday itself while for Galaxy the Holiday is the Monday at tail end of the weekend.
Pace of the pre-sales for Friday continues to be rough though. After getting overtaken by Hoppers its now also been caught up by Inside Out 2.
Opening day now projected at 2.2-2.4M. Just slightly above Hoppers.
Saturday projections start at $3.96-4.61M. Again not that far off Hoppers's first Saturday of $4.36M
