    finally, some new life in the He-Man universe! hope they do the lore justice this time.

    This looks like another fine addition to the “Jared Leto Stars in a Box Office Bomb” cinematic universe.

  3. Hmm. Visuals still look iffy, but I’m seeing a lot more Travis Knight than last time, and the physical fighting continues to look badass. Despite (probably) mediocre at best reviews, I think this could be a sleeper against the heavy hitters. Not *Project Hail Mary*, but a solid franchise starter for Amazon MGM & Mattel.

    I actually think this looks pretty fun. The Leto voice on Skeletor is pretty distracting but the design is really sick

    The music was really cool

    I want to be excited for this, and I’ll probably go see it regardless and hope it’s better than this trailer makes it look…but the writing presented here is just so cliched and elementary.

    Fingers crossed.

    It’s He-Man not Citizens Kane.

    All the footage I’ve seen so far gives me the feeling it’s going to be a blast

  7. it better pull off some amazing twist…otherwise it’ll be a basic popcorn flick. I know I’ll be watching it but if there’s no good word of mouth, I’ll watch it from home

    Eternia in this is giving me vibes of Asgard during the events of Thor Ragnarok

  9. Honestly, props to them for having restraint with “What’s Up” by 4 Non-Blondes. Was certain it would be in the first full trailer.

    AND HE PRAYS!

  10. This looks like loads of fun! I hope this revival of 80s IP continues so I can get a Thundercats flick with this kinda budget. I love this stuff lol

    Oh shit Trap-Jaw. And that spinny blade vehicle thing.

    Was kinda hoping Skeletor would have the high pitched cackling voice but still looks like it’s gonna be a fun movie.

    Looks very Generic.

    * He’s been gone for years
    * Comes back to his planet
    * Discoveres his new abilites and powers
    * Has a love interest
    * Evil is rising
    * Fights Evil and Wins
    * Gets the girl at the end
    * Easter egg at the end of the movie teasing new villian for the potential sequal

    End of story

    If anything, Alison Brie will probably have the time of her life as Evil-Lyn. She is seriously one of the most energetic and animated actresses working today. She’s great. Her going full Zoya the Destroyah! may make this somewhat worth watching. Even if it’s just clips on YouTube.

    I never really saw the cartoon and everything I know about He-Man is through pop culture (and oddly enough the mrcrayfish furniture mod lol) but the first teaser sold me on it. Looks like a ton of fun

    All the Gen Z kids in this thread talking shit can shut up and get out. This movie is for the 80’s babies! This looks amazing.
