I think Hoppers is doing pretty good. It was locked for 200 million dollar untill PHM took it all audience. If it manages to hold against SMG it could do 180 million dollar.

Currently 13.2M behind Kung Fu Panda 4, After this weekend Kung Fu Panda 4 in the next 6 weekends had below 30% drops so we’ll see how much Hoppers will trail behind it when Mario comes out.

I think there’s a path ahead even with Mario coming out. It’s a good kids movie and family entertainment sells. Mario will hurt for sure but Hoppers will have legs!

These holds are solid, but it seems like Project Hail Mary turning into a family option perhaps ate its lunch a bit. Seeing that the next major family competition post-Mario isn’t until Toy Story 5 in two months, it’s got lots of time for late legs.
