Project Hail Mary breaks $100M at the international box office today. 2nd Friday overseas went up 4% to $11.7M. China was up 19% vs last Friday, and India opened. International cume at $98.7M through Friday. Global tally breaks $300M next week.

It should be at 285-295m global by Sunday.
That’s great. Maybe 500-600 mil WW when its all said and done.
I don’t think it will catch The Martian’s $630 million worldwide gross like I was hoping, but this is still going to be Amazon-MGM’s biggest hit so far.
$515-575 million is my guess.
I think 600m can happen with these. Not a sure thing but certainly a real possibility.
350m domestic and 250m international. Just throwing in a random prediction.
This one is a beast, at the domestic BO no doubt.

I’m a bit surprised that this movie isn’t putting up the same or better numbers internationally than it is domestically. To name a few recent examples: The Housemaid, Wuthering Heights, Avatar, Zootopia, all of them have higher box office overseas than in the U.S. Maybe it needed more promotion.
