I didn’t vote for- and dislike the president.
But- this movie made me respect him in a way.
I think anyone who can rise to become the most powerful person is admirable.
Hate the fucker, but very interesting movie.
It’s interesting to see how his life played out.

Casting Bucky Barnes as Trump is way too generous casting. Gilbert gottfried would have been a lot more accurate.

I really enjoyed this movie, it’s well acted and shot. It captures the feel and look of New York in the 70s and 80s. Jeremy Strong kills it as Roy Cohn and shows how he made Trump as he is today. By no way does it play Trump in a flattering light. I’m always recommending it to people but no one ever wants to watch it because of the subject matter. It’s a shame because it’s a gem of a movie.

is this a trauma-inducing movie? like a biopic horror film?
