I actually enjoy her music but I just feel like she has zero identity as an artist or performer, it just feels like someone playing dress up

  2. I don’t know what I was expecting a song called Diet Pepsi to sound like but it wasn’t that.

  3. I wanted to make a joke about Diet Pepsi being the worst of the diet sodas, but I’m old enough to remember what the lineup Lollapalooza used to be, and yeah….I’m grieving a bit.

  4. Dunno if I’m too old or too straight but being brasilian I never met anyone that has heard of her yet. If she was truly famous in Brasil the crowd would be singing along with her as they always do

  5. Did anyone know what happened to Charli D’amelio? Addison is having this big career

I’m a big NIN/Lana fan and I fuck with Addison Rae. Her music is legit. She’s got a great happy vibe

She’s good at being famous, built for it in fact but lacks presence. I hopes she finds it though. I genuinely love her music

People here are being overcritical. At the end of the day, Addison’s vocals are limited but she has something that a LOOOOT of “more talented” artists don’t have – charisma. There are a lot of people from Tiktok who wanted to transition to a real music career but failed. There are a lot of people with loads more vocal talent than her and they might even have the backing of a huge label/and or money but also failed to garner as much attention as Addison. At the end of the day, CHARISMA is the biggest quality that makes or break a pop artist with a huge draw. It’s something you can’t teach, and I think Addison has that one in boatloads. Not to mention the actual music she produces is quite good (regardless whether it’s carried by production according to people) so I’m more than happy to see her occupy a space in the pop music sphere.
