Melanie Lynskey and Jason Ritter’s LA Home Is What Happens When You Don’t Hold Back. Interior design by Jason Martin of Martin & Brocket. – Architectural Digest
Not my style. It looks overstuffed, cold and uncomfortable and the red room just makes me think of The Shining. But it’s not my house, so if they like it, good for them.

OMG, I love it. Death to the Millennial Beige. I need pops of colour! All of them!!!
I mostly like the rest of the house, but that red room is the physical embodiment of an anxiety attack.

I kind of love it! It looks like the kind of home I’d want to spend a day wandering around in

I find it really cute and cozy! The living room in particular (I mean the one they’re sitting in lol since I think there’s two living rooms? Sitting rooms? I dunno the correct term, I’m poor) I find super lovely, I’d love to sit there with my book and some tea. The dining room and kitchen are gorgeous too – that stove is the stuff of dreams! I’m not too keen on the red room – a bit oppressive for me lol but to each their own!

That couch in the first pic looks wildly uncomfortable.
That couch is giving the offices of a tech start up that is “quirky”.

Whoa a celebrity house that appears people actually live in it! Crazy

I like a lot of their paintings!
The painted brick is making my eyes twitch, tho… the non-functioning brick fireplace in my house was painted white at some point and I hate it. Only way to get rid of it is to use nasty chemicals or get rid of the thing altogether, both of which seem like a lot of trouble. I’ll probably paint it a different color at some point, but it’s gonna be a pain in the ass.

I DO really like maximalism with clean lines.

All I have to say here is that I’m glad his character (Mark) in Parenthood didn’t end up with Sarah, she was an insufferable train wreck. Plz don’t come at me!

Love them but this house gives me anxiety to look at. Holy overstimulation. They must both be naturally very chill

I guess I’ll be the first to say…. I absolutely love it.

Va-va-va-VOOM Finally, something colorful, engaging and artistic! Even the stuff I don’t like, it’s still got personality and warmth. Death to greige!
