A very obvious decision for anyone who has seen Serenity.
If you guessed “Because he wants Alan Tudyk to be in it” that is the answer. It’s literally just that.
So is it official that Serenity wont be canon? im okay with this.
I get it and I love Wash, but this also means no real character development.
I know Serenity was written in a way that made it easy for new viewers to get into the story, but the characters were all in the same place as they were mid-show (which was a big step back for the Mal/Simon/River dynamic).
So are we just gonna see why Inara and Book left the ship?
