>Shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup, CIA agents Chris (John Malkovich) and Lee (Sam Rockwell) are dispatched from Santiago to Easter island by their bureau chief, MJ (Steve Buscemi). Amongst the Island’s iconic statues, and as the longtime partners wrestle with their dark pasts and present conspiracies, Chris’s newfound bond with a pair of rebellious students (Mariana di Girolamo and Ailín Salas) threatens to send everyone’s trip to this remote paradise sideways.

Hell yeah getting strong In Bruges vibes here. Can’t wait.

Interesting that they went with Writer/Director of just Banshees and Billboards, considering this has heavy In Bruges vibes and people love that movie. I guess Bruges fans know who directed it though, so probably smart.
Anyway, looks great.

I mean I didn’t need a trailer, I was already in based on cast & director…but now I’m double in!

I’m so in. Martin McDonagh is one of the most under appreciated directors out there

Feeling a little too In Bruges here but I’m sure it’ll still be a fun time.

Thought this was Slow Horses season 9 for a second there.

The stone head comment from Rockwell to Posey had me dead.
He’s going to be hilarious throughout this

McDonagh continues the trend of movie titles with either a number or a place name (or both in Three Billboards).

John Malkovich played this character in Red already.

I am excited for this film.
I do wish thought that McDonagh.managed to get Christopher Walken for this film.

The locales look beautiful (which was one of my favorite aspects of Inisherin).
The setting of the 70s in the midst of a dictatorship in a South American country has me thinking this might make for a fun companion piece with The Secret Agent (though this appears to be a lot whimsier in tone and is set before it comes into effect).

Seems very In Bruges-esque
You can never go wrong with Rockwell and Malkovich, granted I’d watch anything McDonagh could come out with

Can’t fucking wait for this. Just became my most anticipated movie of the year.

I *really* want to like McDonagh but Three Billboards burned me.
BUT this looks like a chaotic road movie like Seven Pyschopaths, so I’m in.

The fact Sam Rockwell said “Czechoslo-fucking-vakia” instead of “Czecho-fucking-slovakia”, implying that He can’t, in fact, spell it.
Love you, Martin

This is some timing. Just last night I surfed over to imdb and was checking out Martin McDonagh’s page to see if he was up to anything new, and saw this was in post-prod and expected in November. Then today a trailer drops. Definitely in on this.
