Project Hail Mary: Walkups was meh, but the audience scores are quite impressive with a 97 on CGV golden egg and a 9 on megabox. I am still expecting the 5-day opening weekend total to still be around that 500-600k admit mark, as the movie’s presales are still fairly impressive.
Hoppers: Hoppers has its first bad day of its run as the movie is definitely feeling the new competition. Presales are down about 50% from last week, so the weekend might not get much better. We need to wait and see.
Humint: The movie is crushed by competition as 2 million admits is officially a dead dream. Sad and frustrating how long it took to see if it can get over the hump.
The Man Who Lives With the King: The movie is still rolling to 14 million admits on Friday. The movie continues to hold well despite the new competition.
