Incredibly strong choice for a writer. Steven Levenson has written well received work in the stage, film, and tv medium with Dear Evan Hansen, Tick, Tick… Boom!, and Fosse/Verdon.
I know there’s a lot of stigma with Labubu, deservedly so in some cases. But until I see the film for myself I can’t see how a movie written by someone with that track record, and Paul King, the director of Paddington & Wonka, will be bad. I can’t believe I’m saying it but I’m hyped for the Labubu movie.
