I have no clue what this is gonna look like – praying it’s trolling the original’s biggest fan rather than trying to appeal to him (studio and director make me think troll, producer could be trying to appeal)

I remember Van Damme had a reality series a while ago. At one point, he gets a phone call that they’re working on a Bloodsport remake and they want no involvement from him to cameo. He has a meltdown and starts breaking down and crying when he hears this piece of news. Just thought it was weird how unstable and narcissistic he was.
