Five years ago today, Zack Snyder’s Justice League was released. With a budget of $70 million to complete post-production (the total cost of both versions exceeded $370 million), the film was the fourth most-streamed movie of 2021. No sequel was ever made.

I’m sure the sequel will be released somewhere in between Ayer’s cut and Rebel Moon 5.
While it’s better than the theatrical cut it’s still a steaming pile of dogshit.
Better than Superman 2025
A monument to the power of a fandom united ~~plus bots~~. And… not a whole lot else. I don’t even think it made them money.
It’s shocking how much this attempted DCEU was a case of throwing good money after bad. Man Of Steel had its moments but was fundamentally flawed; BvS doubled down on all the flaws of MoS, and ZSJL doubled down *again* of the flaws of BvS. It was like WB was trying to will themselves out of a deep dark hole, all because way back in 2012 they gave the keys to a billion dollar franchise to people who don’t understand or like the source material
I liked the Snyder Cut, but if your “vision” of a basic superhero story doesn’t work without 4 hours of screen time, your vision just sucks
