Tom Rothman (Sony CEO, Mar. 14th, 2026) : “In our new Netflix deal, our films don’t become available to stream until 100 to 120 days after theatrical release.” Here’s how that “new” window compares to previous Sony films released since 2022:

The window for Sony films going to Netflix used to be quite long, basically 120 days and up, up to the release of Thanksgiving, that shrunk it to 90 days. After that, 90 days became the new normal with some rare incursions in the 70 days territories with One of them days and, as announced today, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. So a 100-120 days window would be a return to 2022-2023.
