I understood the finale because it was. Well, the finale, but are they really expecting the same amount of success with this midquel cartoon just because it has the brand name? Especially when said finale was considered a huge disappointment?

Putting the show’s finale in theaters made sense, but it will not work as well to put episodes of an animated spin-off show in theaters so shortly after the divisive final season.

Chatter about this was pretty high after the finale. I doubt this will be much of a draw for older (35+y/o) fans, but younger fans might rush out for this.

The only real interest I have in this is that I live in NYC and can watch this at the Paris Theater.

Netflix isn’t big into the theatrical experience but go all out for showcasing their work in the one theater they own. Usually do pretty good giveaways

Really ? They’re milking the IP now.

    El’s alive 90’s spinoff/sequel in O/U 5 years?

  6. Great! When the fuck are you releasing *an actual movie* of yours wide for 45 days, Netflix? Having Sony or WB or… Paramount (lol) handling *Cliff Booth* on a standard exclusive run would shut ***everyone*** up about your policies.

If not forever, at least for this year. Which is important. because I somehow doubt PSkyWarners is gonna close as is.

Are they offering those $20 snack vouchers again? I loved that. If I don’t want to actually see this I could get a ticket for something else and that way the money goes to snack either way and I get an extra theater visit logged to get Platinum on the Cinemark app again.
