  1. Glad One Battle After Another won, probably my favourite film of last year along with Bugonia

Controversial but: KPop Demon Hunters is my second least favorite non Disney winner of Best Animated Feature. After last years amazing pool for animation I thought this years pool was kind of lousy. I think it did make me feel more jaded towards this year after all the nominees last year were incredible. Is it wrong I’m happy for the team and the people, just not the movie itself?

The Girl Who Cried Pearls was a great short and this year the animated short pool was awesome! Surprised it wasn’t Butterfly knowing the Oscars…

I love that we got another tie! And that Michael B. Jordan won!

Only reason it won is due to the Trump winning. It was a good movie but I 1000% guarantee that Sinners would’ve taken this if the political climate didn’t match this film.

  4. This one is for everyone that called MBJ’s performance “overrated”

  5. Tbh, I can’t say I disagree with any of the winners. This was probably one of the most predictable Oscar runs in recent years, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. All of the winners were wholly deserving. I probably would’ve rather seen Sinners win Best Picture, but One Battle wholeheartedly deserved it.

The Best Actor was probably the most intense and exciting race. It could’ve gone to either MBJ or Timmy Chalamet, or DiCaprio pulling an upset.

  7. Congratulations to One battle and Sinners.

Looks like Black Panther 3 is in the right hands.

Am I the only one surprised Sinners lost as many as it did?? I loved One Battle probably a tad more (though both on the same quality) But I thought Sinners would get more a few more. Marty Supreme getting straight up nothing shocked me a bit too

One Battle After Another was definitely deserved. Probably my favorite film of the 2020’s. And in like ten to fifteen years, I don’t think that will be a controversial statement.

  10. ain’t no way did kpop deserved that animated win. the animation wasn’t even that good.

  11. I’m fine with all of them tbh besides animated, song and actor.

Michael B. Jordan was the weakest from the list and I think Sinners should’ve won for song. Animated I knew was going for KPDH but still sucks because I think it has so much flaws and the 2020 – 2025 run was grear so far

OBAA getting all the wins it deserved. What a swing by Warner Bros to give PTA that budget.

No qualms with any of the winners. Think Leo and Ethan Hawke should’ve been much closer to Michael B Jordan and Chalamet for Best Actor than they were perceived but all great performances nonetheless.

I am not mad at any of the winners at all.

OBAA was my fave movie of 2025, so I’m glad to see it sweep most catergories.

I was rooting for Leo to win best actor, but MBJ played two very different characters and put his heart and soul into both and his win is well deserved.

Happy to see PTA finally nab Best Director.

This awards season has been a great race amongst an entire raft of deserving candidates.

  14. Confused how the best supporting somehow shifted from Skarsgaard to a clearly uncaring Penn
