Hi r/Movies!

I’m Brandon Christensen – Longtime Redditor, first time AMAer and I’m incredibly honored to be able to chat with you about my new film BODYCAM, which just came out on March 13th on Shudder. I've also directed other horror films like ZThe PuppetmanStill/BornSuperhost.

Here’s the Trailer: https://youtu.be/Ga5xa3iyXKg

In BODYCAM, two police officers investigate a domestic dispute and there is an accidental shooting. Not wanting to be crucified by the public, the officers attempt to cover it up, only to uncover that the cameras aren’t the only things watching them.

I’m incredibly excited to talk about the film and anything else (except Rampart) and will probably be around longer than my allotted time.

Thanks for your time and interest! Now – ASK ME ANYTHING! Back Monday 3/16 at 2 PM ET to answer questions.

    Hi 👋

What’s one mistake new filmmakers make when trying to create tension in horror films?

  2. Hey Brandon, thanks for joining us 🙂

If you could make a sequel or prequel to a childhood favorite horror movie with an unlimited budget and any cast, what would you pick, and who would you cast in it?

  3. I don’t have a question Brandon but just want to say congrats, and I can’t wait to see it.  Hope you’re well!

This movie was awesome! Cute little horror flick right up my alley. What was the inspiration for using a bodycam was there a specific incident that was the backdrop for the narritive or simply trying to do something different?
