This is really cool of him. Stop motion is a pain to make, so doing a whole short just to say thanks feels extra personal.
Also Gore Verbinski still has that playful weird energy from Rango. I hope more directors do stuff like this instead of the usual promo posts.

This is a really fun movie. It felt very informed by Everything Everywhere All At Once and while it didn’t have the flair or confidence of that movie I’m still glad I saw it – it took some *very* big and brave swings and they all connected in some way
