Are we really basing how successful a film is going to be based on likes now?
Also it makes sense that a film franchise that hasn’t been around for over a decade is more liked than Scream 7 which just had two recent installments as people are excited to see these characters again after being gone for so long. For reference, Scream (2022) has 185K likes, Halloween 2018 has 375K, and Final Destination: Bloodlines has 344K.

I don’t really think the Wayans brothers are a big box office draw. Also hot take but the Scary Movie series got better when they left (and then much worse with V but we don’t talk about that one)

Well, hmmm, maybe like $48M OW, $125M DOM, and $205M WW??? $300M is a bit much, and this is prob gonna be domestic skewed.

I mean yea more people would be interested in a movie that hasn’t had a new installment in over 10 years then the third scream movie in the last 4 years

Nostalgia is strong, but I’m not sure about $300m strong.
