    >Times may change but friends are forever #ToyStory5 is only in theaters June 19

    >An all-new trailer and poster for Disney and Pixar’s highly anticipated upcoming animated adventure “Toy Story 5” debut today. The toys are back and this time, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?

  3. Have to say I’m shocked by how good it actually looks. Something about it feels very Toy Story 2 in all the best ways.

  4. Yeah, this is going to be big. The ipad plotline is very timely and I trust Pixar to do it well. Probably will make around Toy Story 3 & 4, a little higher/lower pending reception. Hopefully another billion for the franchise. If it makes it there Toy Story will join Star Wars, Avengers and Avatar as the only franchises with 3 billion dollar films.

That’s surprisingly that we got an official trailer that early in Mid February instead of March that was supposed to be really for Hoppers debut

  6. Another billion dollars for sure. May even be able to break the flatline that TS4 had and make it into the $1.1B range or higher.

  7. I don’t know if it’s unpopular, but I think this saga has only great chapters, and it looks like the new movie will follow the tradition.

The comparison between generations (technology versus toys) also seems very interesting, also to involve audiences of all ages.

At least bo peep got shown was worried they might have forgotten since the last movie.

  9. Was disappointed by Toy Story 4 and thought the series should just end, but not gonna lie, the hook is fantastic (toys vs tech) and this trailer really sold me. I’m seated day one. Hope it can recapture the magic of the trilogy

solid story, a decent reason to bring woody back, experimentation with new animation styles… like i knew this was gonna make money but i didn’t expect it to actually look like it’ll be a great film

  11. I mean it’s really interesting right? This movie definitely grapples with themes that everyone is struggling with. And Pixar itself is tech meets animation. I wonder to what extent this film will really say something human, or to what extent it will feel written by Lily?

Toy Story was the first movie I ever watched in theaters as a kid and now my grown ass will be taking my little cousins to see this..and I will probably enjoy it more than they will lol

“Extinction, not again!” From Rex is a pretty great line upon seeing an iPad type device lol

Dude, I know some people are gonna downvote me, but it’s incredible how well ‘Toy Story’ movies are even on the 5th one now. Obviously idk if it’s good, but it LOOKS good and I also REALLY enjoy the previous 4 films

  17. Spiritual-Smoke-4605 on

major Toys story 2 vibes from this trailer. loved the tag at the end “its good to see them fighting again” lmao

    $1B+ incoming

  18. I don’t know about anyone else but this trailer somehow totally sold me on the movie and all the discourse of whether or not we should have gotten a fifth movie. This is the best story idea to take the franchise on, I love how it address a these characters age, and hearing the iconic music again got me.

  19. I have a deep love for this franchise, particularly the first film. Didn’t want 4, glad we got it. Really didn’t want 5, but goddamnit…*I am in.*

  20. This concept works and it looks great. They honestly could’ve did this Toy Story 4. I do think they showed a bit too much in this trailer though.

  21. I can hear the sound of the cash registers as parents with young children run to the movies to show their kids why they shouldn’t only play with electronics. Brilliant stuff from Pixar.

  22. The consistency of this franchise is truly an accomplishment. I won’t be surprised at a $1B+ gross at all.
