Presales for Wuthering Heights are very solid, let’s call them $50m+ for the 4-Day right now, can go higher. The movie is excellent, should have big WOM and the boost by Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend. WB starting off 2026 with a big win.

  1. WB’s filling the water tower with champagne right now, what a crazy run they’re on.

  2. 50+ / 4-day would be very good for such a movie (but it’s Empire so it’s probably 10-15% less right now) but a lot guys were saying crazy things like 70+  / 3-day or even more.

Audiences just love it when hot people pretend to have weird, real life infatuations.

President’s Day weekend is gonna be the first “big” weekend of the year.

Wuthering Heights giving WB another $40M+ opener, Goat hopefully over-performing a bit with the first animated offering in two-three months, and Crime 101 at least doing double digits.

It’s gonna be big. Anecdotal, but Jacob Elordi is _huge_ with many of the women I know and some of them want to see this just because of him lol

Not shocked. Once again female audiences being main target leads to box office. After success of films like it ends with us and the housemaid as well as Barbie, this was inevitable. Still to come this year: devil wears Prada 2, verity, practical magic 2

This is going to do gangbusters. Book fans just want to see their favorite novel on the screen, no matter the controversy

It’s Margottin’ time! The presales are really strong.Better than expected. It could even have Barbie’s wom

  10. Good. I want to live in a world where Emerald Fennel is allowed to take on strange projects.

I really hope the guy who insists this has no audience finally goes outside and touches grass. This movie will be huge.

  12. Everyone’s predicting a bad second week drop but I doubt it. As much as I don’t care for Emerald Fennell’s films, I do think her weirdness will be funnelled into something cohesive.

Okay… so it’s tracking compared to what the Fifty Shades sequels did for the 3 day weekend that did around $38.6M and $46.6M
