Crossing my fingers this is a streaming hit and somehow the addition of Cillian takes Part 3 over the finish line.

This movie was incredible but I can also see why people aren’t rushing out to see it.

  2. I’m having to wait another week before getting to see it. I sure hope its underperformance doesn’t dash water on the third entry. I appreciate these guys doing something different and taking chances.

  3. Still insane to me how Bone Temple isn’t gonna get to even the 30M opening weekend 28YL had

This is starting to look really, really bad. Might only finish a few million above primate, on triple the budget. Hopefully the return of Cillian Murphy can boost the last one enough in order to be successful (if it even gets green lighted).

Return to form when it comes to the box office with these films. The earlier films never hit $30M lifetime.

Do people really care about Cillian Murphy enough to justify another one of these things? I know he’s been the internets white man of the month a few times but I don’t think the average person will rush out to see anything he’s in.

Virtually no promotion, especially when you compare it to the previous one. Also there was a hype cillian would be in the last one, and he wasn’t, but for this one they don’t play to that at all?? And I don’t think it’s a coincidence they showed that infected who looks suspiciously like cillian in the trailer
