Buried in Deadline's latest weekend analysis is this: "We’ve gotten word that the production cost for this movie is way higher than the net $35M given to us (more like net $60M), but still — it’s a success for Lionsgate, so Amen."

There is NO WAY ON EARTH this movie cost $60M million, 80% of the movie takes place in the same scenario, a house, with very few scenes outside.
Hollywood accounting at its finest hahah
Anyone know the production name of the film?
“We’ve heard” is thinly sourced at best.
Classic Lionsgate accounting.
Every studio movie is crazy expensive now. It’s just that most of online community are fanboys so they want those ‘positive’ narratives.
