Oh my gosh… the 2nd weekend for The Bone Temple is not going to be that good considering with the winter storms happening this weekend especially with audiences rejecting on the sequel after the previous film has let the audiences lose interest for the sequel

First movie alienated a lot of people who went expecting something and got something else.
So, if 100 people watched it, but 40 hated it, these 40 won’t return for the sequel even if it’s really good. Why? Because these 40 don’t want to fall for the same trick again. Very few would give a chance to a good sequel to a movie they hated.

I don’t think the third movie is dead yet but things are becoming a whole lot more uncertain.
Really sad this is flopping, it was such a great film and it’s a shame general audiences aren’t connecting with it.

Would be interested to see what the UK box office looks like, this may be cope but perhaps interest there and in other international markets influence them to make the third film.

I had to go see it again on Thursday night. Eh gads – I was the only one in the theater.
Truly made me sad because a second viewing just reinforced the stellar rating the movie got was well deserved.
The preview for 28 years later was so great but the movies last half was so bad it damaged the sequel.
Bone Temple was such an amazing movie and it deserves to be successful. However , like Dredd and Edge of Tomorrow sometimes great movies just flop and the hope is it gets second life on the streamers.
The last act of this movie is such a rich and fulfilling ending I almost wish they hadn’t attached the scene with Murphy.
When this movie comes out on disc I’ll be picking it up.
