Spider-Man: Far From Home made $339M in profit

Spider-Man: No Way Home made over $610M in profit

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse made $328M in profit

Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will likely make $300M+ in profit given that their predecessors both did it. I can imagine a scenario where Spider-Man: Brand New Day does $1.2B on a $200M budget and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse does ~$750M on a $100M budget, which would net over $300M in profit fo both.

For reference, the most profitable DC movie of the 2020s, The Batman, made $177M in profit. This is around half of the profit that Spider-Man: Far From Home/Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse made and around one quarter of the profit that Spider-Man: No Way Home made.

I’ll also flag that you can basically “objectively” confirm this from [sony Quarterly fillings](https://old.reddit.com/r/boxoffice/comments/1ovu9oz/posttheatrical_upsidesony_quarterly_film_revenue/) which show a clear VOD uplift of > $250M from No Way Home’s release. Obviously, that doesn’t confirm film costs, profit sharing, etc. but the outlier nature of NWH combined with how Sony splits out film revenue makes it undeniable.

Even Amazing Spider-Man 2, the worst Spider-Man movie, made $716m. It’s kinda crazy how there still hasn’t been a Spider-Man movie that has failed at turning a profit in some capacity, like Into the Spider-verse is the lowest-grossing one but it made up for it in VOD/streaming and awards sweeps

  3. Bruh Sony could of made a spider film with miles Morales and had old man Tobey they would of swept hugely even if they half assed it.
