  1. Brilliant number for zootopia. 400 million is locked and maybe 415 mil finish. Great late legs.

Still think minecraft keeps 2025 crown.

  2. Good numbers! I think this stays flat or even increases from last weekend for the 3 day.

    Really good. 9M+ 3-day and 11M+ 4-day

    Much better than Moana 2‘s 6M 3-day and 7.7M 4-day

    410M+ final.

It still has a small chance for the number #1 movie at the domestic box office.

This is Zootopia 2‘s 8th (!!!) weekend…, and still in the TOP 5!

If Deadline’s $10M number for Zootopia is right, Minecraft is still on the table.

But I’ve already accepted that Steve will still wear his crown assuming it still can’t catch up.

Very good drop from last Friday that’s ahead of Moana 2 with $1.20M that took a 6% drop while only behind Frozen with $2.51M that took a 19% drop despite facing against The Nut Job on the MLK weekend in 2014

This weekend will be interesting to see if it drops really well so next weekend will hopefully see a good drop compared to kids movies that hold well without any competition so it can have a good shot of hitting the $400M DOM mark

Still so impressive that an original, relatively new idea like Zootopia got not one but _two_ billion+ movies right off the bat. Same with Inside Out.

Back in 2015 and 2016, I never expected these to become such lucrative franchises for them

  7. It’s crazy how Disney is pumping out new behemoth franchises like Inside Out and Zootopia like it’s nothing.

I do think it’ll hit $400 million before Goat comes out. The weekends will help carry the film.

  9. Nice hold! $400 million will happen soon. Now it passed Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to be Andy Samberg’s highest-grossing film domestically, Deathly Hallows Part 2, and Return of the King domestically. Return of the King will be playing again in theaters on some days.
