Him turning the lamp off in the high hide is based on his experience inside the Ford Explorer and how Grant was begging Lex to turn off her flashlight.

Ian screaming for nobody to move is just him remembering Grant telling him to "freeze" and a permanent limp as a reminder

Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World is a really interesting portrayal. It’s only 4 years later and yet he is a completely different person in many respects. His sarcasm is the main carryover, but in JP his sarcasm was more playful (minus the scene where he gets serious to dictate exactly how the future is going to play out), whereas after experiencing the disaster his sarcasm becomes his way of darkly dealing with his PTSD. Many many years later in the Jurassic World films, he is still dealing out wisdom but has seemingly mellowed out after not having been attacked by dinosaurs for a couple decades. JW is a film where he is actively against everything he is doing, but has to keep on trucking because he loves someone who is in danger. He knows enough to know they all know nothing and that death could come at any second, and he reacts accordingly with a massive amount of paranoia.
