“Directed by Max Spielberg”. Zemeckis and Spielberg are buddies so he snuck his son’s name into the marquee.

The idea of milking old franchises was alive and well in the 80s too. It wasn’t so much a prediction as it was social commentary.
It happened with this franchise. Back to the future 3 sucked.
