Court documents obtained by The Cake Dish Podcast confirms Jackson’s mother, Yhinyer Hubbard-Jackson, filed for a restraining order in 2020 against Romel Jackson as part of their divorce filing.
While the exact details surrounding the alleged abuse are unknown, the restraining order remains in place today and Jackson’s dad was forced to hand over his firearms.
Wait … am I remembering it wrong or was she claiming her son didn’t/wouldn’t commit DV? I might be misremembering it but I swear she was saying something to defend her son. Which would be especially crazy if she experienced DV first hand from his father.

That’s depressing. I’m glad KeKe got out of the relationship as fast as she did, because abuse doesn’t only affect her but her child too. We can see proof of that with the story above.
His mom defending him so hard makes sense now. She sounded deluded before, but if she was abused then I wonder if she feels like she needs to overly protect her sons, even when they do bad things? And if they attacked her daughter, then she might feel like women deserve it due to being conditioned that way.
He’s still trash, but this whole thing is becoming more and more depressing.
