In the 1987 movie Spaceballs there is a scene where the characters Col. Sandurz and Dark Helmet watch a cassette of the film Spaceballs (which they are currently filming) in order to save time and find where the heroes are located.
While watching the film, we are showing a fast-forward recap of the movie so far and the title crawl has a completely different design and layout from the actual beginning of the movie. It’s shorter and structured differently.
I had to pause the screen on my computer and take a picture of my phone to get a good shot of the opening crawl text.
Not pictured in this photo is a short line of text following the top paragraph that says “if you can read this, you don’t need glasses” which is present in both openings Of the film.
