28 Years Later (2025) – Lindisfarne Castle

In the new trailer 2 for the upcoming film ‘28 Years Later’ it shows an aerial shot of the commune which has been set up on the Island of Lindisfarne in Northumbria, England. In real life however, this island is home to a castle that sits upon a large stone mound (opposite from the commune in the image), however this does not appear in the upcoming film. This is most likely because filming would not have been possible to have been done in and around the castle. So, as a result, it has been edited out and does not exist in the 28 years later universe as it would make no sense for the islanders to live out-with the castle, rather than inside it.
