      It’s going to be someone lame but popular. Someone the GA loves, but most Bond fans couldn’t see as the character. This is my prediction.

      I just can’t imagine a world where Amazon doesn’t fuck this up. The Broccoli family handled that franchise perfectly for decades, and then walked away after basically saying that Amazon has no idea how to make movies. I love the franchise enough that I don’t think I’ll touch this until reviews are out, and I feel confident in it.

      I hope Patrick Gibson is at least strongly considered. He did an amazing job playing Bond in 007 First Light

      Hope they just dye Patrick Gibson’s hair black and give him the role, he was fantastic in the game.

      I don’t like Amazon but they have a great track record with geek properties. I have no doubt they will cast an acceptable Bond. They’ve already hired Denis which is a huge get.

      It’s such a shame Henry Cavill is likely too old to portray Bond. He would have been an excellent choice.

      That being said, I’m hoping for Aaron Taylor Johnson.

      They are waiting to see how One Night Only does at the box office and then dependent on that, they’ll push Callum Turner a bit more

      Ok now is the time to start checking ods on betting sites. It it’s anything like Doctor Who, for a while it will be the biggest fan cast names before someone will shoot to the top as more and more know who it is

      Amazon is going to cast an unknown British actor. When they do the obvious, people will say “Huh wow Amazon actually did the obvious thing. Maybe they will do a good job!”

      My only hope is that they don’t try to go even “grittier” with it (as is the trend for franchises).

      Daniel Craig was a great new take on the character but still sophisticated enough. “Do I look like I give a damn?” was awesome.

      But rebooting the character, it’s only going to work if they go closer to Pierce Brosnan than Craig – we need a fancy man Bond again to separate the franchises.

      Edris Elba’s just too old at 53 to start a reboot.

      I still think Dev Patel would be an amazing choice. And he’s only mid-30s so about the same age Craig was when he started

      I do not want an already established actor to play bond. I’m really hoping they go for a young fresh face.

      Out of elordi, turner, dickinson etc… Gut tells me Callum turner if they’re going for that type. Just that bit more rugged.

      Just stop. The stories are done. Do something new, like Bourne when it came out. Similar idea, modern age.
