    1. Its not even out in the Cinema here in Korea. I hate when this happens. Let me give you money movie studios

    2. That smug self-righteousness of Alana Haim’s Rachel…

Zoë Winters should be in more stuff.

    3. Watched it yesterday. I liked it a lot. Got me feeling very awkward and uncomfortable and anxious. I do wonder though how different the reception of it is between non-Americans (like myself) and Americans

I loved this movie and just watched it again a few hours ago! I have the wedding ring/band from young emma in the movie lol

    5. I was very impressed with this. Great fun. Acting so good it leaves you physically uncomfortable often.

2nd favourite movie of the year the twist made my jaw go to the floor should’ve been a bigger hit imo

A24 hates their crews – they can use that $75 million from Google to go to hell.

I enjoyed this movie but had a little bit of a hard time buying the conflict in general. Maybe I’m just a weirdo but I don’t think “she thought about doing something awful that she didn’t do” is that big of a deal.

What’s impressive is how much I’ve heard about this movie and yet know nothing about it

    10. I think this was the most stressed I’ve been in a movie in a while. Both Zendaya and Pattinson did banger performances as well. Might be one of my fav Pattinsons

Going against what looks like every comment in this thread, I thought it was okay. It’s well made and has good performances, but I thought the story was a bore. I loved Dream Scenario which was also written and directed by Borgli, but The Drama just felt flat to me. Spoilers below.

      >!For it being a romantic dark comedy, I don’t think it did any of three well. Charlie and Emma did not feel like a real couple before the reveal, so Charlie spiraling about not knowing her didn’t interest me. Emma as a character is never even fleshed out, she’s just a vehicle for the plot. You learn more about her as a child than you do in the present. Rachel was the only character with an actual motivation in the entire thing.!<

      >!After the reveal it’s just Charlie freaking out and Emma doing absolutely nothing. I can’t remember a laugh I even had during the film. It felt like a movie that wanted to have something to say but didn’t know what.!<

The whole *The Drama* experience was 10/10 for me. The lead up and marketing campaign were so good, got me intrigued without revealing too much. The theater experience was AMAZING. It was a full theater and everyone was on board, laughing and gasping throughout the whole thing. Afterwards, I overheard a great conversation in the bathroom from some girls talking about their Tumblr days, and my husband and I talked about the movie for dayyys. Probably will buy it on DVD!

      >then you realize all the other characters that judge Zendaya’s character are actually worse, and she’s the only one showing accountability/empathy/forgiveness.

To be fair, Zendaya’s character was extremely manipulative and selfish.

It’s a good movie. Clever and kinda funny… Kinda dramatic. I liked it.

    15. Wasn’t a fan.

As someone who has dealt with some of the topics discussed in this movie, firsthand, it felt like the writers were romanticizing the idea of why someone might have been tempted to become a School shooter. It felt like It was trying to be more edgy, or appeal to youths, or explain it to old people, I’m not sure, but it missed an opportunity to get into some real issues.

Also, who gave Robert Patterson an empty coffee cup?
