This was an already rescheduled event he had canceled on before and then he was 2 hours late to the event today. Fans were already inside the venue when this was announced and it forced ticket holders with a 4pm slot to be merged with the 6pm group who will receive refunds. On the way out, a fan appears to have thrown drinks at Zayn.

Incredibly rude of him to waste people’s time like that, but to throw drinks at him? That’s like when you hear about all those people throwing stuff at singers during a concert.

He clearly has no interest in this career so idk why he keeps pretending like what he does just to disappoint his fans again and again.

At the same time, whoever threw those drinks is a POS.

    3. Don’t throw drinks or going to a Zayn event. I’m surprised he’s still getting opportunities when he makes it so obvious how little he cares.

I don’t care what happened prior – throwing drinks and things at people is unacceptable.

    5. yikes. i don’t think they should have thrown anything but being 2 hours late is really awful

He’s the worst when it comes to this stuff and I’m not even one of those people who dislikes him, I actually do like some of his music. I wonder if he has a contract to fulfill or something, because I hope he knows that he can be one of those artists that doesn’t tour. He’s been doing this since he’s been solo and he’s holding on to fans by a thread cuz he’s already very impersonal, he can just be one who does small shows every so often.

Harry Styles is mainly engaging with fans when he releases music and tours (not referring to him out and about lol), but at least he’s professional and dedicated to the work. Not all artists are the touring types and that’s fine.

    7. Being two hours late is egregious. He does not respect his fans, but she also should not be throwing a drink at him. Both parties are TA here.

I’m not approving of throwing drinks on anyone but I’m also not saying it’s not well deserved.

To me the big thing is it was a plastic cup; absolutely no chance of physical harm like there could be with a full can or a glass. Ultimately non-violent.

Also non-violent but infinitely worse? Wasting thousands(?) of hours of human life because you don’t care about other people. Like, how many people in the audience x 2 hours = a lot of wasted human life because some has-been doesn’t respect or value the die hard fans who still show up…

His reputation was already skyfalling and yet he continues to disrespect his own fans, the ones who would have defended him to the moon and bacm

everytime i hear about him he’s either canceling shows or whole tours. idk how he still has fans.

Guys, I was at this show. It’s never okay to throw drinks at someone, but I get it for that show.

Doors were at 4pm and he was supposed to be on stage at 5pm. By 5:15pm, the stage manager said he’d be 15 minutes. By 6:00pm he still hadn’t turned up, so we got told that they were merging the 2 shows together, and that if we wanted to leave and come back we could… although if we left we would need to join the back of the queue and we only had 10 minutes before the doors opened.

He turned up at 7:15pm, didn’t mention anything about the delay (not even a‘thanks for waiting’) and was on stage for all of 28 minutes, during which he was answering questions so badly that people started laughing (scoffing) and leaving. I’m talking ‘what’s your favourite song of the new album’ … ‘that’s a hard question I don’t know can’t decide’

Separate art from the artist because this man needs to retire.

    13. His career is never going to reach the height it deserves because he is LAZY and unprofessional. The most insane face card on a man I’ve ever seen and the best voice out of all his band mates and he just refuses to lock in. Wasted potential.

If you’re buying tickets to a Zayn show, you have to know it’s gonna be some bullshit. It’s like getting mad at a Lauryn Hill show, a Frank Ocean show, or an Oasis show when you know damn well they’re not gonna be there and/or on time and there’s a high chance of some bullshit. Like I’m not excusing Zayn, because he sucks for repeatedly doing things like this, but he also almost always does shit like this so I don’t get what any of his fans expect at this point.

I don’t agree with throwing drinks at people but Zayn is a very hard man to sympathise with.

    16. osamabinlaggiing on

i mean fans are the issue, he have cancelled/ not showed up enough time. anyone with a bit of self respect would stop buying tickets to his show and even stop listing music

if you’re still showing up, you don’t get to complain

    17. guynamedfawkes on

Apparently the woman who threw the drinks at Zayn was also screaming at him about him being her husband and them having kids together. So not at all unhinged!

    18. Literally reminds me of that show I think it was Nicki Minaj did, I’m not too sure. But the show was meant to start at like 7 and she didn’t actually start until 11pm.

    19. LuminousHendrix on

People need to stop supporting this man. He’s not interested in entertaining his fans, he’s just there for his paycheck.

Ridiculous behavior and it hit that crew guy right in the head. But it’s lowkey ironic, he must be not so fond of aggression now huh

    21. idk why ppl bother buying tickets to see him he does this every time or he cancels lol he is lazy and not reliable and that’s why his career is suffering

    22. st4rblossom on

not y’all defending assault because he’s late… not ok in any universe.

All the bro’s from Bradford looking at zayn like he flew too close to the sun. Should never have left Bradford – and stayed happily mediocre in silence rather than in whatever spotlight he’s created for himself.
