The film is a modern take on the creature horror film told from the perspective of a young boy who slowly begins to discover that his beloved parents are hiding a disturbing secret about his mother’s true nature. Brian Duffield wrote the screenplay based on a short story by Philip Fracassi.
Sony Pictures picked up worldwide rights during this year’s EFM.

Always up for some Gallner horror
Awesome. Gallner doesnt miss nowadays. And he has the history with Mollner with Strange Darling. It seems like Brie Larson is coming out of her “always angry at everything” phase and starting to sign on to cool projects again. Easy to forget that she was one of the better young actresses we have seen in a long time (forget her oscar for Room, she is absolutely amazing in Short Term 12). Ill be seated.
