Following Miles Teller saying it felt like a violation that a profile labeled him as “kind of a dick”, a different interviewer shared his experience with Teller. When asked what’s the next big thing you have coming up, Teller told him “My dick”.

He’s been like this for years
Emerson said a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds.
Big dick, peanut brain
Miles Teller seems like a guy who desperately wanted to be in a fraternity but was too much for even them to accept.
Definitely the joke you make with your friends but not for a public interview.
Maybe he’d have been happier if the author had labelled him “kind of a *big* dick”
He’s an asshole seemingly but he also allegedly tried to knock out Josh Trank so I can’t hate him too much lol
Isn’t he best friend with Aaron Rodgers? This all tracks
> Jim Vejvoda
Side note, but man I haven’t heard that name since I stopped visiting IGN over a decade ago.

Miles Teller tickles his bros and says “no homo” and thinks “unless…?”
It kills me that he is so self unaware that he thinks the journalist is the one that made him come across as a douche.
During the premiere of Rabbit Hole at TIFF, someone asked him how he prepared for his role and he said “I hit a kid with my car”. It was funny then and now but that laughter he got, which is the same laugh 51% of young men get when they’re being irreverent, probably made him think he can say anything. I speak from experience.
Is this the 13 reason why guy or different?
Throughout the years it’s been a constant rumour that Miles Teller is a bit of a dick so it’s not like the Esquire interview revealed any shocking truths or anything. If the Esquire interview did do anything bad for his career it’s that he was coming off multiple flops when it came out so it gave Hollywood even more an excuse to slow his hype machine and knock him off the lead actor role list. To his credit I don’t think he’s ever been accused of being a dick in the bigoted ways which is probably why even this tweet is more eye rolling at him trying to deny it than anything really angry but still. No one really cared until he brought it up.
This makes me think of people who defend shitty comedians who are just repeating the same edgelord humor they passed around at their 8th grade cafeteria table. They aren’t “being edgy” or “testing boundaries,” they are “kind of assholes” and “not worth giving opportunities”
He’s always been a douchebag.
I’m kinda relieved that the world is realising.
