      For those confused by the title: he participated in a race in San Francisco prior to performing at a nearby university.

      You go from the bay to the ocean… i.e. bay to breakers.

      Most people dress up and most participants are drunk and/or high.

      Very few run it competitively.

      Stanford is a university south of San Francisco in Palo Alto, where they apparently played a show.
