Of course they did. *Careless People* goes into explicit detail how Zuck schmoozes with heads of state and bends to their whimsies e.g. capitulating to the demands of CPP and granting them access to private user data in exchange for allowing FB in China. Modi’s govt. is no different. 

Happens everywhere. I got an admin warning today on Reddit for explaining why some people from the Middle East have less-than-positive opinions about a certain Very Special Country that you’re not supposed to criticize. I did not actually go into detail on any criticisms or express any opinion of my own, but I voiced that some people don’t like the Country You’re Supposed to Like, and that was enough for a warning. I’m appealing it now. It happened to me once before and they quickly reversed the warning, but we’ll see how this one goes.
