Great technical wrestler until he turned heel and started all the posturing and pouting. I’ll die on the hill that he made the small package submission move cool way before Brett the Hitman Hart popularised it.

Macho Man played such a huge impact on everyone, not just wrestling fans; I mean, his theme is still used for graduation ceremonies in high school and college. That is how much of an impact he had on society
Met him once at a fast food joint after a big WWF event. He was one of the nicest folks to meet.
