Well, considering the last time he was mentioned in the same sentence as her was when a source close to him said how upset he was that Shiloh dropped his last name because she is his first daughter so it hurt more, ignoring the fact that she is actually his second daughter. My dad is a shitty dad. He also doesn’t acknowledge it and is a pretty shitty grandpa. Dude rarely shows up, but showed up at my graduation and didn’t fuck it up. Meant the world to me.

I grew up in a similar dynamic. Early on my father was an alkie and a bad husband. My mother pitted us against him for years. Towards the end, he tried to reconcile multiple times but I never answered. Then one day, he hung it up and I never got to tell him that I forgave him.
