Just published my review of Obsession over at my friend's blog, Juice Box Press. Navarrette's performance is genuinely one of the best I've seen in the genre in years. Curious if anyone else has caught it and what you thought. Think we'll finally get a year where the Academy has to recognize a horror film for Best Actress?

Went in blind to this last night. The premise is a little thin at times but this lady was absolutely fantastic, really weird performance.
The Substance broke horror movie fan’s brains. Every time we get a good-to-great performance it’s deemed Oscar-worthy.
