I loved Season 1 and Season 2 of Westworld, mostly because of Ed Harris. He’s just ice‑cold in this show. The Man in Black walks through the park murdering families, threatening kids, taking scalps, killing without hesitation… he’s got to be one of the coldest characters. Season 1 especially was incredible.

Especially once you learn that he knows what’s going on the whole time. He knows they can wake up. Just doesn’t give a fuck, because he owns the place.
He didn’t consider them people, but rather theme park attractions. In fact they weren’t really until Ford uploaded the reveries update which then allowed them to start developing consciousness. There are PLENTY of worse characters.
Westworld premiered 10 years ago??? Season 1 was great, really loved it. He was a great villain!
Season 1 is so good. It makes a great standalone, though there are some fun ideas in season 2.
Well, he is a billionaire.
No more “evil” than any of us playing GTA.
Ed chewed the scenery. His monologue in season 2 was phenomenal.
Shame that show turned to absolute garbage.
Whole lot of evil in that show… but William was pretty screwed up.
