We watched about 6 seasons of that. It started really well with all the Culloden stuff & a bit of fun time travel, but once they’d been stuck as the beverly hillbillies for about 3 years we no longer could be bothered with it.
We won’t miss its passing… it ran far too long.

I clearly have no idea what this show is about if it’s set in the American Revolution.

My ex-wife used to watch that show – twelve years ago. How did it survive this long?

    4. i had to stop watching when the daughter was introduced. her and her love interest were truly insufferable.

    5. Is that the show where the nurse goes back in time to get her ass eaten out?

Only in fantasy can a woman get transported back to the 18th century and meet a smokeshow of a Scotsman that wants to bang her. And not out of shape guy missing teeth and has who knows what diseases

Holy hell. Just finished. I didn’t cry as much as I thought I would after so many years with this story: I felt manipulated by the ending, the storyline seemed doomed by time/talent/money constraints…they left the ending open to earn more money if they can, but the story did not come to a “natural end” as the show runners have said in the press–they could have done better by Diana and the characters. So many threads left hanging…maybe to milk for BoMB? I’m not an obsessive fan, but this ending was not what any follower of so many years deserved. I’d like to know how the dedicated fan base feels. More later…I’m too disappointed to comment now.

I’m a book series lover from way back, and I stopped watching the series around season 4 because it went way, way off the rails!
