      The Game of Thrones casting is probably the only thing they got right when adapting the books. Aside from the music, which is also pretty good.

      After seeing the Night Manager I’d have wanted Tom Hiddleston but I think they’ll be going for someone a lot younger

      Really hope they don’t go too young though where he looks baby faced.

      I hope they don’t cast an already established big name. Bond should be a star making role that pushes whoever takes over into the A List. If they do go with someone with some name recognition tho I’d love if it was Dan Stevens. Might be a little older than they’re looking for but I think he’d be a killer Bond

      Denis Villeneuve did rather well with *Dune*, but not in a spectacular or game-changing manner. The last two Craig Bond films were huge disappointments so they are probably looking for a safe pair of hands.

      I really liked *Casino Royale* and *Skyfall*, but I prefer Brosnan to Craig, even if Brosnan got weaker films overall.

      He’s probably too busy with *Murdoch Mysteries* but I think Yannick Bisson would be the perfect Bond.

      Is there some reason they couldn’t have done this years ago, like the only reason No Time to Die came out in late 2021 instead of early 2020 was because of covid but even if you assume they couldn’t have done anything until 2021 it’s still been years
