I love this! They even throw in two hints about his strength. He basically picks up Lois and puts her on the ground, then show him curling her “heavy” bags. They linger on him so much, but you hardly notice since it’s early in the film and you haven’t been introduce to Cavill yet.
Are people annoyed by the hypnoglasses? He fights giant star fish and a robot that keeps civilisations in jars but hypnoglasses are where people draw the line?
For those (like me) that need it spelled out: Cargo Joe here is superman, which makes the “careful, they’re heavy” remark humorous as well.
The film looks beautiful – the cinematography had aged well
