The twist is the movie is, in fact, terrible.
Bro inflicting his kids on cinema while gobbling up all the PA film grants.
I know he’s easy to dunk on but fuck it I’m always rooting for Shyamalan. Earnest, singular guy doing his own weird thing. Even when it doesn’t work there’ll at least be some cool camerawork and some crazy line readings.
I’m always down to see a story he’s part of because regardless of your opinion at least tries to create original stories instead of just reframing the same old song.
He’s got Jake Gyllenhaal in it and if he was down to do the movie I have some confidence it’s a pretty good story.
As long as his daughter isn’t singing in it.
I don’t mind his films at all. I like some of em quite a bit.
lmao. Never went to a M. Night Shamalama movie after he butchered Last Airbender.
At least he isn’t doing remakes of older films that still stand up..
“Highest testing?” I might consider watching your movie if you talked about it like it was art and not, I don’t know, floor wax.

I think the world is finally ready for M Night to rerelease the happening.
