Colleen Hoover adaptations are positively cursed, and Anne Hathaway already has a bad track record with hate trains. I have a bad feeling, lmao.

I have never and likely will never read this book. That being said, I have known for a long time that I will see this movie opening weekend and I can’t quite explain why

I’ll watch anything with Anne in, so as bad as this likely will be I’m seated already.

I read the book so I’m gonna pass..
There are some trigger warnings regarding infants. I’d suggest looking into that if you feel the need and have not read the book. It was tough to get through personally.

Josh Hartnett?! I haven’t seen that name in forever.

I just watched the trailer based off this post, and it’s giving 90s erotic thriller and I’m not mad at it. I miss sleazy Hitchcockian movies like this.

I hope it flops and they never make another Colleen Hoover movie ever again and I hope Colleen Hoover never writes again and that all of her idiotic books my dumb 20 YO self read cease to exist in my memories

This is actually interesting to me because I pictured Dakota Johnson in that role when reading it.

If the movie and the rollout is going to be as cursed as the book, strap in everyone

I really don’t like Dakota Johnson cast again. It’s giving 50 shades of gray

Dakota Johnson always at the scene of the crime

Still pissed off this is not a Code Name Verity adaptation.

I think this is the most Colleen Hoover book that will have the broadest appeal to everyone (from my understanding). I listened to the audiobook years ago and it was fine as a thriller/mystery with some love triangle thrown in. Reminders of Him, Regretting You, and This is the End are all basically romance melodramas.

This was the worst book I’ve ever fucking read and I’m not gonna waste my time seeing it.

>!The plot of the book is that a woman called Lowen is living in the house of the famous author Verity while she tries to ghostwrite and finish Verity’s last project before she became heavily disabled in an accident. In the house there is Lowen, Verity and verity’s husband Jeremy. There’s very obvious sexual tension between Jeremy and Lowen and that romance is the major part of the book.!<
>!The headboard scene is from when Jeremy and Lowen have sex for the first time and Lowen notices that in the headboard Verity had left bite marks from her time with Jeremy. So in order to keep quiet and hide this affair from anyone else in the house so she bites into the headboard and it’s like this whole “I’m going to make deeper marks because I’m better for him or something.!<
Sorry if this is formatted terribly it’s hard on mobile.

This book was beyond terrible. I refer to it as a bad Lifetime movie in book form, and the feels offensive to Lifetime movies.

Anne Hathaway is Emma stoning (overexposing herself and getting annoying).
