This comment section is gonna drive me nuts as someone not from the states and who watches enough foreign film and non American centric film industry media to know that when they mean far right they mean like objectively racist and sexist people … watch more movies and film media than just stuff from the states or that has a big franchise name or big name actors in it.

As it also says in the article, apart from the domination of the cinema industry by the reactionary billionaire, Le Pen’s party also wants to cut and privatize the public broadcaster that funds films, which is just another sign of the far right working to benefit billionaires and their control over all aspects of life.
