I hope Neon will be more committed to an actual release in the UK and Europe than they were for Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie. They got the rights and have so far done nothing with them in theatres, streaming, or for physical media. I got lucky to see one of the two screenings in the UK, and it’s certainly not for lack of cinemas wanting to program it.
This is one that has been gestating for a while and recently got approved for government grants, so it’s exciting to see it gain more forward momentum. Really makes you wonder when that Magic the Gathering movie is supposed to actually materialize though
That movie was so freaking funny… I hadn’t laughed so hard at a movie for years
